NoTS Silk Glow Stick Foundation No. 21 [Review]
Monday 28 September 2015
Ever since I discovered the convenience of cushion foundations, I haven't really felt the need to try other types. However, as I do like stick foundations for their small size and I'm still searching for one I'm happy with, I ended up with Silk Glow Stick Foundation by NoTS.
Neiman Marcus Fall 2015 Beauty Event Thoughts
Thursday 24 September 2015
Around a week ago, Neiman Marcus ran a beauty event offering one of the tote bags above plus samples, with orders over $125. Individual brands also had fantastic value GWPs along with step up gifts.
Best USA Forwarding Service for the UK - MyMallBox [Review]
Thanks to MyMallBox, I was able to get everything in the pic above, most of which are either not available in the UK (fresh, Apple leather care, generous GWPs such as those Clinique chubby sticks) or have sold out (Hourglass palette).
美的 BITEKI Magazine November 2015
Wednesday 23 September 2015
I've just got my hands on the November 2015 issue of BITEKI magazine. Since I have the digital issue, I'm missing out on the freebies, such as this issue's Daniella & Gemma clutch bag, but having them all on my iPad means it's worth it. Besides, most of the freebies either end up being thrown out or lost in the house.
The History of Whoo Jin Hae Yoon Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++[Review]
Tuesday 22 September 2015
The History of Whoo, like Sulwhasoo, is one of Korea's high end/luxury skincare brands. In fact, I believe LG launched Whoo in 2003 to directly compete with Amore Pacific's Sulwhasoo.
Sulwhasoo Overnight Revitalizing Mask [Review]
Sunday 20 September 2015
I've only had the Sulwhasoo Overnight Revitalizing Mask for less than a week, but having used it almost every night I've been so impressed that I just had to sing its praises ASAP. Without further ado, here it is!
NoTS Lip Shimmer Gloss [Review]
Friday 18 September 2015
I wasn't entirely sure how to categorise this post. Despite the name of this NoTS (Noble Through Skin) lip... product, Lip Shimmer Gloss, it's neither shimmery nor glossy. Ah well, it can go into the lip balm category for now.
NoTS Wrinkle Repairing Hand Cream [Review]
Thursday 17 September 2015
NoTS Wrinkle Repairing Hand Cream is the newest addition to my stash of hand creams, included free with my recent Koreadepart NoTS haul for spending $100+ on NoTS products.
Koreadepart NoTS (Noble Through Skin) haul
Other than the one sun cream by The History of Whoo, my most recent Koreadepart order consisted solely of NoTS products.
Privacy UV Face Powder SPF50+ PA++++
Tuesday 15 September 2015
This Privacy UV Face Powder SPF50+ PA++++ was actually recommended to me by Amazon JP's "Customers Also Bought" feature.
Since it was an inexpensive item (¥1,036 ≈ £5.60) and the high sun protection in powder form piqued my interest, I decided to check it out.
Sulwhasoo from Jolse
Monday 14 September 2015
I've been seriously hyped about getting my first ever order from Jolse. I'd ordered some Sulwhasoo products just over a week ago and was not expecting the package to be "out for delivery" today, especially not when I was out!
So I hurried home, picked up the larger than expected package from the lovely neighbour who'd signed for it, charged upstairs, and eagerly proceeded to tear it open. It was then I realised why the box was so giant...
New Favourite Cleanser - HABA Squa Facial Foam
Friday 11 September 2015
The Japanese brand HABA (stands for Health And Beauty Aid) is one of my favourites for skincare. Their products do not contain mineral oil, parabens, fragrance or artificial colouring, and are formulated for sensitive skin.
Having used this HABA Squa Facial Foam daily for almost two weeks, it has quickly become an integral part of my skincare routine.

The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Firming Seed Sleeping Pack [Review]
Tuesday 8 September 2015
Sleeping packs aren't a daily necessity but, given the imminent colder weather, I've been alternating between three sleeping packs - Naruko, Innisfree and The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Firming Seed Sleeping Pack, the subject of this review.
In a nutshell, a sleeping pack is a facial mask you wear to bed, either on top of or instead of night cream for extra hydration while you snooze away. When you wake up, wash it off, and voila - instant beautiful skin!
The Saem Gem Miracle Black Pearl O2 Bubble Mask [Review]
Saturday 5 September 2015
A recently used up product, this Gem Miracle Black Pearl O2 Bubble Mask from The Saem is one of the few face masks I used semi regularly - most of the time, I favour sheet masks for convenience.
The Black Pearl O2 Bubble Mask, containing oxygen and black pearl extract, claims to brighten, purify the complexion, shrink pores while removing dead skin cells. Plus, it was only ₩9,800 (just over £5, on sale from TesterKorea)!
Dr.Ci:Labo BB Perfect Cream Light [Review]
Friday 4 September 2015
The perfect BB cream is so difficult to find! I would know, having literally spent years searching for one. So, when I stumbled upon this Dr.Ci: Labo BB cream, given I've liked Dr.Ci: Labo skincare products in the past, I that thought their BB cream couldn't possibly be bad. After all, BB creams are touted almost as an extension to your skincare routine; they're supposed to be all-in-one products.
This is why I like Tenso
From time to time Tenso has an international shipping discount campaign, where if you spend over x amount on a website (usually Rakuten JP), you'd receive a shipping discount. I almost always use this opportunity to stock up on a few Japanese skincare and makeup items, plus Rilakkuma products.
And of course, the packages I receive are always well packed. I've even ordered fragile goods before, such as tableware, and nothing has ever arrived broken.

Ettusais Herbal UV Jelly SPF50+ PA+++
Thursday 3 September 2015
Ettusais is a Japanese skincare & makeup brand under Shiseido, with a main focus on skincare for acne-prone skin. Their products are free from parabens, mineral oil and are suitable for sensitive skin. The prices are also very attractive; I believe Ettusais prices are comparable to Biore and Hada Labo, for example.
